| It certainly has been a challenging yet
very rewarding year for me. The evil-one has certainly sought
to thwart our efforts at every turn. I want to thank you so
much for your recent prayers and gifts. As a result of these I
have been able to replace all the belongings that were stolen
from me in September. I now have another very important prayer
request. You can read it by clicking on the prayer request
link above. | |

| Reaching World Religions |
| Thank you for your prayers as I prepared
to teach for the first time a course on World Religions.
Pictured to the right are the 2nd year students to whom I
taught this course. From my perspective it went very well.
This course was put into our curriculum in order to give our
students an overview of 5 of the main World Religions, so that
they are better equipped to evangelize people from these
different faiths. I required each student to choose one of
these World Religions and write a paper on how they would seek
to go about sharing the gospel with a Hindu, Animist, Muslim,
Buddhist, or a Jew. We also invited a Christian who comes from
a Mongolian Buddhist background to share a little bit about
Buddhism. She came to know the Lord through our summer camp
ministry and has a great fervor to reach her people with the
Gospel of Christ. If you are interested in learning more about
this course you can download my class notes by clicking on the
class notes link above or below.

| Alem
and Alma Sadikovic |
| We are fortunate to have a large
international student body coming from various nationalities
and backgrounds. Pictured to the right is a married couple
from Bosnia who study at our Bible Institute. Alem was saved
out of a Muslim family and Alma a Catholic family. After
completing their preparation with us, they are planning to
return to Bosnia to reach their people with the message of
Christ. Alem and Alma’s background corresponds to that of
their people; about 40 % of Bosnians are Muslim and 30%
Catholic. Please pray for this couple as they have a great
challenge ahead of them. Currently Alem and Alma are in their
2nd year of study at our Bible Institute and they have a
ministry at a refugee camp outside of Budapest. I have been
challenged by the stories of how they have used what was
learned in their classes, most recently World Religions, to
reach others with the message of Christ.

| Internship Program |
| I have the opportunity to oversee our
developing internship program. This is our 2nd year of the
program and we have 12 interns. Most of these interns are
graduates of our 2 year Bible Institute. This program involves
mentorship, ministry, further education, and on the job
experience amongst other things. This program has been a great
help to meet many of WOL Hungary’s immediate needs, as well as
provide further ministry preparation for these young people.
We have a great group of interns and I am excited to see how
God is going to use them in the years to come. I am pictured
in the picture to the right with a few of our interns at a
recent Christmas party that I hosted along with Jimmy and
Michelle Compton (pictured on the far right). Jimmy and
Michelle have committed to serving with us here in Hungary for
2 years, and are considering whether God would have them to
become a permanent part of our missionary staff.
